A Successful Battle Was Fought

Thank you to everyone who participated in the 2025 Battle of the Books!

We had 22 teams compete in this challenge of lit, wits, and memory. Participants endured three rounds of tough questions and gave it their all to consume, what appeared to be, massive amounts of charcuterie over the duration of the night. (Yes, we saw that next-level snacking yinz brought to the table, and we were impressed!)

We once again congratulate our top winners and hope everyone got to take home a prize through the book giveaway.

And we are thrilled to announce that we were able to raise more than $2,000 for the North Region libraries thanks to your generosity! These funds will unlock matching dollars through the Love Your Library campaign for our libraries!

The Battle is BACK in 2025!

Who: Adult Booklovers

What: Battle of the Books style trivia competition. Gather a team of 4-5 to read some great books, then each team answers questions about those books. The team with the most points wins!

When: Thursday, September 11 | 6:30 PM – 9:00 PM (Doors open at 6:00 PM)

Where: Hampton Community Library

Details: $15 per person; BYOB (snacks & drinks – $5 corkage fee per team)
